Dear Linda Harrison is a play based on the National Shoppers Survey (for whom Linda Harrison works as the Survey Manager) and actors play the parts of Linda Harrison and the consumer. Each question of the survey asks for a multiple choice, tick box answer. The actor playing the consumer responds to the questions honestly, placing himself within one of a series of limited or fixed options, creating an ultimately flawed consumer self portrait. The consumer speaks into Linda Harrison's ear, revealing personal details. As he speaks she is awake, when he is silent, she is dormant. They are locked in a bleak yet erotically charged relationship.
